India will be a global IT Technology Hub for PepsiCo. The global IT Technology Hub in India will play a significant role in the delivery of IT services across all five of our global capability teams :

  • Global Development & Delivery
  • Strategy, Planning & Transformation
  • The IT Global Development & Delivery (D&D) organization partners with our businesses and local IT Business Relationship Managers to build and deploy high value IT solutions that bring new business capabilities to life.

    D&D has 4 key functions :

  • Delivery : Deliver high quality projects, maximizing solution commonality and reusability across markets
  • Development : Lead the technical design, build, and quality assurance of all technical customizations and solution development landscapes
  • Planning & Testing Services : Deliver release planning, testing, and D&D processes / services / tools to enable delivery excellence and reduce risk to PepsiCo’s IT landscape
  • Enterprise First / Design Authority : Build a global digital foundation with harmonized business processes

  • Qualifications / Requirements

    We are seeking a Associate Director, Development and Delivery

  • Leads Global Capabilities for Global planning team in India with operational focus on D&D Vendor Engagement activities
  • Works closely with D&D team members within global IT to drive global capabilities to enable project delivery
  • Partners with GDP teams in definition, refinement and consistent reporting of KPIs and SLAs related to project delivery
  • Drive global capabilities for project reporting and governance
  • Evaluate vendor resources as well as vendor deliverables & quality
  • Provides vendor and resource management support to sectors.
  • Partners with multiple organizational entities such as Finance, Legal, Procurement, and IT leadership for contract management activities.
  • Partners with sector GDP teams in defining and monitoring KPIs and service levels for all external resources in that geography.
  • Demand Management : Partners with sector Delivery teams to understand demand / prioritization and optimize resource sourcing
  • Ensures adherence to the internal Delivery & Development operating model, including technology standards, support methodology, release management, change management, and other related processes and procedures, SLAs and controls compliance.
  • Submits period forecasts and financial reconciliation for contract resources in the geography.
  • Work / collaborate with external vendors supporting Delivery & Development across sectors; Identifies and communicates supplier risks / issues.
  • Functional Responsibilities :

  • Partners with other sector GDP teams to help identify the best practices to optimize resource engagement processes
  • Ensures adherence to Governance & Compliance (local and global policies, processed and procedures)
  • Partners with GDP teams in definition, refinement and consistent reporting of KPIs and SLAs related to project delivery
  • Supports the contract and vendor engagement related activities including periodic vendor performance evaluations.
  • Supports and is a champion of IT strategies, goals and global standards

  • Key Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 8 years of related IT business work experience with experience in managing others
  • Experience in managing vendor interaction, policy definition and driving relationship for win-win proposition for both entities.
  • Experience in vendor negotiation, contract management and vendor performance management
  • Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers, resolving very difficult and sensitive issues effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong experience in preparing RFP, Proposals, evaluations and price negotiations with vendors.
  • Prior experience in working matrix organization and handling multiple stakeholders would be added advantage.
  • Functional and / or Technical experience in delivery of IT project within but not limited to the following (SAP, ABAP, Middleware / TibCo, JAVA, mainframe, etc)
