Job Requirements

  • 8 -15 years of experience working as a business analyst / product owner / product manager in Regulatory Compliance and / or risk space.
  • Experience working with Trade Surveillance in the retail sell-side brokerage space
  • Experience working in Understanding of Suitability Profiling, Restricted Holdings, Trade concentration, Portfolio Risk, etc.
  • Knowledge of AML detection through monitoring of suspicious account activity will be an advantage
  • Ability to track and keep pace with regulatory changes and upcoming trade regulations
  • Knowledge of various products such as Equities, Options, Fixed income, Mutual funds, ETFs, Structured products, Futures and commodities, Fixed and variable annuities, Equity indexed annuities, Term and whole life, etc.
  • Knowledge working with large enterprise solutions involving Case Management and workflow management.
  • Experience working directly with clients in international geographies.
  • Experience in creating detailed business requirement documents from regulations
  • Experience working as a product owner in an Agile SCRUM model, experience in breaking down business requirements into user stories, backlog grooming, roadmap planning, etc.
  • Experience working and coordinating with globally distributed teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication is mandatory
  • Technology background with hand on experience with databases such as SQL Server will be an added advantage.
  • Scrum Product Owner certification will be an advantage

  • Work with the development head / product manager to define the product roadmap
  • Drive the product releases - own the product backlog, define user stories, prepare BRDs, plan product releases, participate in sprint planning
  • Track all upcoming regulations, plan regulations into product roadmap releases, take regulations to business requirements
  • Work closely with the product scrum team in an agile scrum model
  • Coordinate extensively with customers and client interfacing staff including professional services and account management to gather feedback, requirements and plan it into product releases
  • Work directly with customers as needed to demonstrate product usage, best practices, or discuss product roadmap
  • Provide support and assistance to all client facing and / or professional services teams as needed for consulting, debugging, defining requirements, etc.
