Your Responsibilities To expand the scope of sales activities within India, in conjunction with the Business Fields and Branch Management, in line with country directives as well as own initiativesTo increase revenue through the retention of, and the proactive acquisition of customersTo actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities.

To lead the team in developing and implementing innovative products and value add services to provide us with a competitive advantageTo ensure that personal knowledge of all relevant Kuehne + Nagel products and / or services is up to date at all times.

To make joint sales calls as required.To oversee the development and delivery of tender responses / presentations, sales proposals and product / services presentations.

To oversee the identification and implementation of new products and growth opportunities / strategies.To provide senior management with relevant, quantified and clear information relating to market activity.

To set and achieve personal sales targets on an annual basis.To develop and implement strategies and tactics to meet and preferably, exceed annual revenue and sales targetsTo set targets for priority trade lanes and other relationships within the global Kuehne + Nagel organisation.

To develop and implement sales targets for the country.To develop and implement strategies and tactics to maintain and develop the overall performance the sales teams.

To have overall responsibility for setting the direction of the sales and revenue strategy nationally and ensuring that it is aligned to the company’s overall strategy.

To consistently demonstrate the leadership competencies required to lead and motivate direct reports.To set, monitor the annual Sales Budget in conjunction with Branch Management, National Business Field Managers, Managing Director and Financial Director Your Skills and Experiences MBA in Sales and Marketing from a recognised universityRelevant tertiary qualification in Freight Forwarding or LogisticsProven history of management success at a senior level in the freight forwarding industry.

Extensive sales experience in the freight forwarding industryProven experience in a leadership / people management role High level of sales coaching skills.
