Essential Functions (Tasks and Responsibilities) :

  • Oversee business aspects of project by providing guidance in the constructing of project teams, charters, project plans, resourcing, contingencies, success metrics and ROI measurements
  • Influence transformation strategies improvement roadmaps with business executives
  • Drive definition of business solution concepts in partnership with IT and business constituents
  • Work cross-functionality to establish and manage appropriate team structure for successful delivery across renewals and other impacted organizations;
  • Manage resource and budgeting processes on business side

  • Manage all phases of program to success, including initiation, planning, definition, design, development, testing and deployment cycles
  • Ensure successful working relationships among project teams
  • Facilitate change management and communication planning activities through project lifecycle
  • Manage cross project dependencies
  • Foresee, manage, and raise appropriate visibility to risks and issues; Drive resolution of any conflicts and escalate as needed to avoid roadblocks
  • Drive regular forums to update business communities and steering committee on progress, status and issues
  • Create an environment of success to enable confident project execution by project teams
  • Qualifications Experience :

  • BS / BA degree in Business; MBA or Masters (preferred)
  • 2 -5 years project related work experience
  • 2 + years experience leading major Programs / Projects in a complex, global corporate setting
  • Project Management certification or equivalent; Process Excellence training (preferred)
  • Demonstrate good broad working knowledge of support organizations and culture
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors and the partner community
  • Must be a self-starter, motivated individual who works well under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and coordinate tasks to meet multiple deadlines
  • Ability to drive collaboration with executives, business and technical teams to achieve effective solutions
  • Outgoing and comfortable building cross-functional relationships
  • Effective communication skills with all levels of management
  • Flexible and resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to a high-change environment and open to new concepts and / or processes
  • Conflict resolution and negotiations skills to resolve disagreements quickly and effectively, bringing a problem-solving attitude to conflicting approaches and priorities involving others
  • Project Management and SDLC lifecycle experience
