Responsibilities

To develop case studies and revise content that elevates the research done at BIPP

The jobholder as Case cum Content Writer BIPP reports to the Associate Director and performs a set of responsibilities that ensures quality content for all BIPP related cases / documents / reports / policy briefs / blogs / project proposals etc.

The incumbent needs to create case studies, caselets, gather information, write, edit, proofread articles (drafted by Research Scholars and RAs), website stories / blogs, reference documents, and other forms of print and web documents.

The job holder needs to edit documents or website content for completeness, accuracy and correctness of language usage, revise documents to meet predetermined standards of style, produce web content, and work with Research Associates, Research Analysts and Interns throughout the content development phase.

The incumbent needs to be able to collate information and content flowing in from different sources.

The jobholder should be detail-oriented and committed to meet deadlines and should have high level of creativity.

Skills and Qualifications

Knowledge / Education Specific Skills Desirable Experience Post Graduate in Social Sciences / Economics / Journalism

  • Evidence of case writing experience in high quality academic or non-academic publication avenues.
  • Comfort in understanding and summarizing academic research
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Good command over grammar and punctuation concepts
  • Well-articulated approach to writing
  • Ability to think critically and write clearly
  • Minimum 2-3 years of professional writing / editing experience with both print and online formats
  • Exposure to a research environment preferred
