About the Team :

The Optimization Services Specialist team is part of the Client Services organization. We analyze and optimize Omnichannel (Native / DSP / Premium) Ad campaigns, thus helping advertisers meet and exceed their performance goals.

The team works with the Account Strategist and Account Management teams, uses Native / Exchange advertising frameworks to develop strategies that drive performance of Native / Programmatic / Premium campaigns.

Leveraging the best-in-class Yahoo Ad Platform, the Optimization Service Specialist recommends optimizations to targeting, audience segments, creatives, landing pages and supply sources across Native, Display, Video and Mobile.

Along with our Account Strategists and Account Managers, Optimization Service Specialists are individual contributors who act as a key resource for Yahoo’s most valuable advertisers in planning and implementing their digital marketing campaigns.

What You Will Be Doing

Meets or exceeds quarterly KPI goals set by leadership

Build and optimize Omnichannel advertising campaigns; work with account teams to develop customized, error-free recommendations

Provide strategic solutions to improve campaign performance either through best practice implementation, reporting, account performance analysis and / or category expertise.

Implement and optimize additional Native / DSP / Premium product offerings

Owns campaigns and is able to troubleshoot issues

Performs optimizations based on campaign goals, keeping advertiser performance the top priority

Provides high quality inputs, ensures timely and open communication and showcases a high degree of ownership through any partnership

Ability to surface feature requests

Provides feedback and recommendations to help shape campaign strategy

Responsible for all facets of Native / DSP / Premium campaigns

Protects revenue

Balances performance and profitability

Identifies optimization / incremental revenue opportunities

Proficient knowledge of all Native / DSP / Premium platforms and tools

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor level degree with a preference for marketing, advertising, or related field

2+ years of relevant experience

Good interpersonal and communication skills - oral, written and presentation

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Proven ability to manage, prioritize, multiple daily tasks and thinking on your feet in high-pressure situations

High attention to detail with an ability to do organic research

Creative problem solving employing data analytics and critical thinking

Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively across multiple teams

Should be comfortable working the US shifts (6pm to 3am)
