Job Description :

At Microfocus IT, We are looking foranenthusiastictechnical expertwho can takeupresponsibility forarchitecting, designing andprovisioningcustomer focused IT solutions in partnership with other IT teamsand ensure delivery of IT projects / programs that support business.

This role will require the skills of understanding business needs,estimating the solutions, designing the high level andlow-level designartifacts,shapingstrategy,and partnering with external software vendors to ensure that delivery commitments are met.

The Development Architectreports to Director ofTechCoEand is mapped under the CIO organization of Microfocus IT management.

This position will be in Bangalore, India and the executive will work collaboratively with partners in the country to execute statements of work.

Education and Experience Required :

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or MCA or equivalent. Master’s degree or an MBA is an added advantage.

Should have demonstrated experiencein designing applications anddelivering results in a complexlandscape. Should have authored designed documents and architecture concept documents

At least10yearssoftwaredesign anddevelopmentexperience / consulting experience

Should have worked at least 3 years in the technical career path in a similar role or function.

At least 3 years of experience in developing,configuring,and implementing SASbasedcloud applicationsis a must have. We currently do not have on prem applications to manage.

Technicalskillsets : At least3years ofstrong techno functional experience in Salesforce CRM, Salesforce CPQ applicationsis a must have.

Otherskillsets inarchitecting enterprisecloud applicationslike OracleSales cloud, Service cloud, NetSuitewill be an added advantage

Demonstrable experience working with IT and business leaders to develop strategies and help deploy IT capabilities to support business performance

Ensures the design, development, delivery, and supportability of solutions in accordance with business and IT objectives.

Shows an attitude and willingness to roll up the sleeves and work in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of multiple priorities to drive projects to completion

Should be able to estimate and plan the development tasks for a given set of requirements with utmost clarity outlining the risks, dependencies, and complexities

Understands, articulates, and optimizes application and process capabilities for all business and IT constituents; drives architectural standards and simplification.

Maintainscreativity and innovation by staying on top of industry and technological trends

Directs, manages, leads, and coordinates the integrationoftechnology solutions and drives digital transformational activities in different geographies.

Job Functions :

Authoring of design documents, solution proposal documents, Architecture concept documents.

Accountable forestimations of new requirements, project coordination and driving deliverystrategy and transformational activities.

Provides technical leadershipand reviews all deliverableson time

Collaboratesregularly with central Architecture governance teams

Applies strong subject matterexpertiseand technical skills tosolvecomplex issues withinthe development team.

Ensures that systems and applications are highly available and meet or exceed performance expectations and require little to no support.

Knowledge and Skills :

Ability to develop IT development roadmaps with enterprise architecture, assessing customer needs, characterizing competitive advantages andgaps,and building consensus across teams

Ability to coach & mentor budding developers and architects

Ethical Mindset with a Results-driven go getter attitude to think pro-actively and work collaboratively

Very strong team player

Bring technology and thought leadership to the forefront of our capability and value proposition

Ability to identify business value when developing ideas with a focus on digital awareness, risk assessment, business continuity and business capability requirements

Review requirements with change management and business transformation teams

Communicate with business leadership to evaluate joint initiatives and proposals to see how they align with established roadmaps and business priorities
