Job Description

This role sits within our Financial & Risk ( F&R ) business. On October 1, 2018, Thomson Reuters sold a 55% majority stake in F&R and entered into a strategic partnership with private equity funds managed by Blackstone, retaining a 45% interest in the business.

In India, the execution of this transaction has a delayed closing date as it is subject to a judicial process for closure and customary closing conditions.

When the transaction closes in India, this role will be included in the new F&R entity .

We are currently seeking a Manager, People Systems Solutions to join our team. This role will lead reporting and analytics development for the global HR solutions team and be responsible for the advancement of all reporting and analytics in the Workday HRIS platform.

The individual we are seeking plays a key role in our People Solutions team to drive success for reporting and analytics.

This individual will work with various functional area and business stakeholders to develop and maintain business requirements and ensure execution and delivery.

This role is a key SME for all reporting and analytics solutions and the role ensures that we drive consistent value to our Workday users.

The key elements of this role are :

  • Drive creation of innovative tools, analytics, dashboards and other reporting solutions based on business needs
  • Manage ongoing requests for new or changed reports and oversee the successful troubleshooting of report defects
  • Manage multiple requirements for simultaneous projects of varying sizes
  • Manage an internal full-time analyst resource as well as an outsourced vendor team of report developers
  • Monitor and ensure outsourced vendor effectiveness in delivering reporting solutions in Workday
  • Drive the uptake of Workday reporting new features to deliver value to Workday users; oversee discovery projects to utilize new reporting tools and their successful implementation
  • Oversee bi-annual Workday releases of forced reporting features and manage impact to existing reports / analytics
  • Create report development standards and procedures and monitoring tools to track successful outcomes
  • Serve as the managerial first point of contact for escalated report issues
  • Key Requirements are :

  • 7 to 10+ years experience managing core HRIS systems, preferably Workday
  • Workday Pro Certification in one or more of HCM, Integrations, Reporting, etc.
  • Must be an advanced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities; with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to build relationships and to consult at all levels within an organization.
  • Strong project management skills; demonstrated experience in creating and executing project plans and managing successful project execution across business groups, geographies and disciplines.
  • People management skills; team building and leadership skills to achieve high performance from a team; Ability to manage effectively in a virtual team setting.
  • Previous experience working on global initiatives that have been implemented successfully across business units and geographies.
  • Strong HR business knowledge and demonstrated ability to deliver results exceeding expectations with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required (Master’s preferred)
