About the Role
Contribute ideas for Valuation system and process design, play an important role in the testing and rollout of all non-modelling elements of the global actuarial landscape.
Design Actuarial reporting analysis process (if candidate comes from Actuarial experience)
Supporting on system fixes, function and unit testing, addressing system issues during production (if candidate comes from IT experience)
Supporting in adoption of the global approach across all region
Ensuring the actuarial systems are fit for purpose and once released into production are robust and meet the needs of the global community
Testing documentation is maintained to a high standard and evidences the work undertaken ahead of releases into production
About the Team :
Global Process and systems team drives changes to the systems landscape for the corporate actuarial function in L&H Business Management.
Helping with the implementation of the design, development and testing of system changes as well as working on the global process that the systems landscape needs to support.
About You :
Some experience of experience in business analysis, data analysis, actuarial analysis and data / information modelling is useful
Strong customer orientation and business focus; Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excel skills essential with the ability to manipulate and analyse large data sets and not be phased with the task
Willing to learn and enhance their IT skills further
Accomplished interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to be able to communicate clearly with colleagues
Highly motivated and self driven takes action
Experienced in working with a diverse multi-locational team of internal and external professionals
Able to identify the problems and challenges in the developments and then communicate these effectively
Knowledge & experience of Insurance Domain / Financial industry / Finance function in other industries is a useful
