Specialty Developer (Scarce Skillsets)
Participates as a hands-on developer on a software development team.
Coaching Software Engineers on Software Craftsmanship / Clean Coder principles, practices, and tools.
Assists in identifying, setting up, configuring, and maintaining tools and frameworks that improve developer productivity, code health, and organizational transparency such as automated build, test, and code analysis.
Tracks the state of the art relative to the Clean Coder movement and Agile Software Craftsmanship.
Works with leadership to explain, evangelize, and grow Software Craftsmanship / Clean Coder principles and practices with Ford to provide the highest value in terms of improvements to time, cost, quality, and efficiency.
Works across systems development technologies (e.g. broad application of technology, highly complex business logic, multiple integration points and platforms, system integration).
Works through the full stack of technologies from front-end to middle tier to services to persistence.
Relationship Management :
Interfaces with all levels of management for business and IT functions.
Provides technical leadership and coaching to senior, intermediate, and junior developers.
Cooperates closely with other technical experts
Interacts with external business consulting and IT vendors.
Participates in cross-functional global committees.
Qualifications : Education :
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (or equivalent work experience), or degree level qualification in computer science or related discipline.
