Your Impact

Design, develop, and maintain detection checks for cloud security policies and compliance standards

Research on new cloud services from the security point of view.

Research on cloud attack techniques, tactics, and detections based on events and network flow logs.

Propose and implement security signatures.

Active participation in ongoing process enhancements in the development, automation, and deployment practices.

Participate in the public outreach forums and represent the recommendations adhering to Palo Alto Networks standards.

Bonus : Publish blogs on security research to establish industry thought leadership

Your Experience

Ideal : 4 - 8 years of experience in signature / policy development or attack research in the security domain.

Must have : Experience in the security domain.

Must have : Experience working on public cloud (AWS or GCP or Azure).

Must have : Experience in Linux command-line and troubleshooting.

Highly desirable : Experience in security auditing tools (exploit development, vulnerability scanners, policy auditing, etc)

Highly desirable : Experience in Git version control, CI / CD build and deployment pipeline, bug tracking tools, etc.

Highly desirable : Experience in SQL, JSON, REST API, etc.

Highly desirable : Experience in Python Programming.

Highly desirable : Knowledge of Containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, Cloud technologies, etc
