Job Title : Cloud Engineer (MIC)

McAfee LLC is immediately seeking a proven public cloud engineer in our Bangalore IT Cloud Services Team. This is a great opportunity to be part of driving McAfee’s cloud first strategy by supporting our product development teams.

Responsibilities :

Perform IaaS / PaaS Public Cloud (and minimal private cloud) engineering and ongoing support activities. Write, update and implement scripts and templates used to manage infrastructure as code.

Work with internal product development customers of the IT Cloud Services team to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.

The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills and strong leadership skills to help guide and support other team members, and to ensure success of projects.

Qualifications :

  • Must possess a minimum of 4-5 years of recent, relevant experience with public and private cloud technologies
  • Experience with AWS and / or Azure and / or Google Cloud required
  • API and scripting experience required
  • Experience working within an Agile environment
  • Experience with multiple of the following technologiesAWSAzureGoogle Cloud PlatformCloudFormationScripting (Example; Python,PowerShell)Configuration Management Tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef)VMWare vSphereVMWare vRealize Automation and OrchestrationVMWare NSX

  • Generate project support documentation, including procedural documents for implemented systems when scope requires
  • Customer service skills (our team serves our product development teams in their critical goal of better securing the world’s information assets)
  • Ability to educate others in the areas of your expertise across a global workforce
  • Experience with Private Cloud particularly on VMWare vRealize Automation and vRealize Orchestrator desired
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience
  • Experience or education in people leadership is a plus
