Looking for suitable Professional for Business Development role including Buildings - Private (Real Estate, Hospitality, Healthcare, Institutional, etc.

as well as Government projects, Industrial Clients, Urban Planning Projects, etc. Along with the Business Development role, also seeking involvement in Project Operation in Buildings & Industry as well as Urban Planning Projects.

Should be strong in communication (writing as well as verbal) and shall have ability to take up additional responsibilities assigned.

Must carry good knowledge of Business in various sectors Buildings, Industry, Urban Planning and other relevant areas in the Industry.

Knowledge in Business Planning, Operation Finance, Project Coordination, Project budgets and Financial reporting shall be an advantage.

Business Development for Buildings, Industry as well as Urban Planning

Lead the Business Development department for private sector as well as Government sector projects for Buildings & Industry division and Urban Planning division.

Buildings & Industry division projects covers Project Management & Construction Management Consultancy, Engineering Design, Design Validation assignments mainly with private clients and large sized projects with government.

Urban Planning division prospects mainly covers government assignments I.e. Statutory Master Planning, City Development Plans, Vision Documents, Town Planning Schemes, PMUs, Heritage & Tourism Planning, GIS Mapping, etc.

Responsibilities :

  • Market analysis and scan to explore and identify new business opportunities and directions; tracking of significant prospects and key clientele
  • Business intelligence through various sources (Private as well as Government projects)
  • Upfront marketing with Private Clients for projects in pipeline
  • Guide the BD team in day to day operations for exploring new Business Opportunities
  • Preparation of Business Plans and Strategy
  • Bid / No Bid Decision : Detailed screening of opportunities w.r.t. Techno-Commercial viability, organizational expertise & capabilities, project cash flow, risk analysis, maturity of the project in client’s office, etc.
  • Client interaction for better understanding of the project and assess the competition by attending Pre-Bid meetings
  • Explore JV possibilities to strengthen our credentials & capabilities on case-to-case basis and coordinate with JV Partners / Associates
  • Preparation of Financial Proposal with inputs from the Operation Team and finalize with MD / COO / CEO.
  • Guide and monitor the team for entire bid preparation
  • Deliver presentations to the client during the bid process as well as to prospective clients as marketing effort
  • Contract Negotiations, Pursue Work Order / LOA and execution of Contract Agreement.
  • Assist the Project Team in the pre-implementation phase of projects like integration between project team and client, resource mobilization, project office setup, etc.
  • for a smooth kick-off.

    Project Management & Coordination for Building and Urban Planning Projects

    Overall Project Management including Client Coordination, Project Budgets, Contract Management, Operation Reviews, Administrative Support, etc.
