Overview

  • Prime responsibilities include to generate the business revenue for both Sales & Service in the assigned territories of West (Gujarat & Madhyapradesh) India, market segments thereby growing the present revenue for the organization for TA range of Instruments and the Installed Instruments.
  • Further to service the the installed base and the newly sold instruments for supporting the customers for installations and smooth running and maintenance of the instruments.
  • Pursue new business prospects and penetrate competitive accounts through direct customer interactions and support from the marketing team.
  • Responsibilities

  • Achieve the Sales & Service Targets targets for the territory assigned in the Western Region of Gujarat & Madhyapradesh
  • Develop and manage key areas of the sales function in the market including identifying opportunities, qualifying them, developing the opportunities for business for the organization in the territory being handled for the TA India business
  • Meet the customers and develop & maintain good relations, support them technically for the products they seek to buy and for the applications.
  • Coordinate with the analytical players in the market place in the assigned territory and with a good relations with them identify new opportunities , projects for future business for the company

  • Manage the service installations for the new instruments sold and the routine maintenance and upkeeping of existing installed base available with regular maintenance visits and solving the service issues if problems found in the existing instruments installed base.
  • Support the customers for the instruments in their facility and also develop the business for the service spares and the contracts for the installed base
  • Participate and conduct various marketing / promotional activity for promotions of the product line like exhibitions, workshops etc in coordination with the marketing and technical team in the territory handled.
  • To develop oneself to be the company personnel who is the bridge between the company and the customer with complete ownership.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor Of Engineering with a preferbal Post Graduation in Science & Management from a Premier Institute with a good technical background of servicing.
  • Years of Experience : 3-5 years in handling sales and service of Analytical Instruments
  • Ownership driven with a mature approach towards the customer & organization
  • Biased for action, with a passion for getting things done and a drive for achieving results
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to influence people both the internal and external customers.
  • Positive Attitude to achieve success for his territory in the role assigned
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Scientific Instruments industry
  • Must have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and be ultra-responsive to internal and external customers.
