Microsoft Teams is the most innovative cloud platform in computing today and Microsoft is hiring Teams Technology Specialist (TS).

Microsoft TSs main goal is to win the technical decision of customers to purchase and use our technology. You will work in a team, enabling the customers through digital transformation by leveraging theof Microsoft 365 and Surface.

TSs are expected to be able to both own and win the customers technical decisions, as well as find new opportunities through their contacts and work they are on for sales people to further pursue.

As a TS, you work within a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to help educate your customers at a technical level, demonstrate and prove our solutions, and win the technical decision allowing the team to achieve / exceed quarterly Microsoft 365 suite, Teams, Surface and OEM Meeting / Calling devices sales / usage targets in your accounts.

Being part of this team will allow you to maintain and develop your deep technical expertise across Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud-based infrastructure technologies.

Responsibilities

Primary accountabilities for a Teams TS :

Solution Design & Proof for Teams : Demonstrates, oversees demonstrations, presents and applies architecture patterns, proves capabilities and integration into customer environment, and drives cross-workload support for Microsoft Teams Calling, Meetings, devices, Frontline Worker enablement and Viva solutions.

Coaches team in addressing customer digital transformation and leveraging insights to align new or changing technology to customer needs.

Build Strategy for Teams : Contributes to Microsoft Teams Calling, Meetings, devices strategy development, shapes strategic win plan and tailors Microsoft messaging to audience for opportunities.

Captures core competitive knowledge and delivers it back to product and engineering teams to enhance team capabilities and develop compete strategies for Microsoft Teams Calling, Meetings, devices, Frontline Worker enablement and Viva and develops compete strategies for customers.

Scale Teams Customer Engagements : . Engages with and reaches out to customers proactively and independently, searches for and uses Microsoft Teams customer references.

Builds credibility with customers as a trusted advisor for Microsoft Teams Calling, Meetings, and devices, remediates blockers by conveying impact to product teams, and leads and ensures technical wins for Microsoft Teams and adjacent technologies such as Viva.

Education & Thought Leadership for Teams : Builds own readiness plan to gain expertise in Microsoft Teams Calling, Meetings, devices, Frontline Worker enablement and Viva solutions while acting as a mentor for Microsoft Teams Calling, Meetings, devices, along with integration of other Microsoft products and services into Teams.

Demonstrates Microsoft Teams Calling, Meetings, devices, Frontline Worker enablement and Viva capabilities and products to increase virtual teams’ understanding of Teams and the new opportunities.

Scale Through Partners : Engages in partner sell-with scenarios and supports partner technical capacity.

Qualifications

Key Capabilities Required for primary accountabilities :

  • Solution Design & Proof for Teams : Skilled in : Demonstrating Architectural Design Sessions, and Proof of Concept sessions) Microsoft Teams Calling, Meetings, devices, Frontline Worker enablement and Viva products, services, and integration;
  • presenting and applying architecture patterns for design, development, configuration, and deployment / adoption / governance planning;
  • applying sales methodologies Challenger sales); leveraging partner / customer teams as needed.

    Build Strategy for Teams : Skilled in : Providing strategic, technical, and partner input based on Microsoft capability at the account level, leveraging knowledge of partners, open-source solutions, and competitors in the Microsoft Teams Calling, Meetings, devices, Frontline Worker enablement and Viva solutions space.

    Using knowledge of customer feedback, specific Microsoft Teams solutions, and their context in a competitive landscape and delivering core competitive knowledge back to engineering teams to enhance Microsoft Teams capabilities and to develop compete strategies.

  • Scale Teams Customer Engagements : Skilled in : Using knowledge of customer context; expertise in Microsoft Teams Calling, Meetings, and devices;
  • depth knowledge in Frontline Worker enablement and Viva solutions; and other technical and industry knowledge. Leading technical discussions with customers and establishing rules of engagement role boundaries, handoff strategies) for extended teams, leveraging knowledge of processes Managed Service Provider, Managed Certified Professional), tools, and programs FastTrack, customer investment funding) and leveraging foundational knowledge of resources roles, Microsoft Technology Center, demo sites, virtual sites).

    Education : Skilled in : Proactively identifying learning gaps; monitoring & responding to internal tech community posts, attending community calls, sessions, hackathons, etc.

    Practicing expertise by communicating with customers, partners, and senior colleagues to expand knowledge of architecture and demonstrating new and updated Microsoft Teams products and services.

    Scale Through Partners : Skilled in : Acting as the liaison between the partner and team and facilitating partner resources and processes.

    Identifying Microsoft Teams Calling, Meetings, devices, Frontline Worker and Viva skill and resource gaps and providing feedback to internal teams One Commercial Partner).
