WHAT YOU'LL DO
BCG’s Windows-Next team is a part of the Personal Productivity team within our World Wide IT organization.
The team owns and drives the next version of Windows including imaging and upgrade products while also working with application teams to ensure the integrity of the operating system and overall end user laptop experience.
Applicants will work with highly cross-functional global teams taking a pro-active approach to identify potential issues in the Windows environment using data analytics and reporting.
As a Windows Performance & Stability Platform Engineer, you will focus on understanding the specific performance and stability problems related to Windows laptops and developing the data analysis (primarily using Aternity) required for identifying root cause.
You will work with teams on implementing changes and monitoring the impact of these changes.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Background in development of data analysis and reporting using end-to-end digital experience monitoring tools such as Aternity, AppDynamics, Nexthink.
Day-to-day Windows Laptop team Performance & Stability subject matter expertise.
Experience in demand prioritization, Aternity system design & engineering.
Ability to organize performance & stability efforts, work with the Windows teams, application owners, and IT service to ensure usability and service value.
Ensure Windows teams, application owners, and IT Service have the information (available via Aternity) required to improve performance & stability.
Vendor relationship management and roadmap development & integration with other BCG tools as necessary.
Understand the Windows Laptop issues and challenges to create strong analysis and processes.
Identify the strengths and weaknesses of an organization's Windows Laptops and related processes and suggests areas of improvement.
Review and edit requirements, specifications, & processes to make recommendations for future laptop monitoring solutions.
Deliver informative, well-organized demonstrations and data analysis.
Provide support for ad-hoc analysis requests.
Perform market / vendor reviews of key providers as needed.
Involved in defining and managing service metrics and reports.
Experience with PowerBI and Agile methodologies is a plus.
