Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners.

Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings.

Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

In this role, you will enable the growth of the Gaming industry in India and shape Google Play's role in this expansion. You will actively partner with game studios and developers, both in India and outside, who are serving Indian game players.

Our team provides meaningful solutions from helping publishers and developers grow their businesses through monetization solutions, to helping our long-term partners anticipate and navigate change in a way that delivers economic and reputational value.

We build and distribute products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Ads, Search & Assistant, Geo, Platforms & Ecosystems, Devices & Services, Health, Retail, Payments, Next Billion Users, and more.

We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.

Minimum qualifications :

  • Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience building partnerships within the gaming industry.
  • 4 years of experience in mobile applications, games, digital content, mobile distribution channels, e-commerce, or other mobile-focused businesses.
  • Experience sourcing, managing, building relationships, and creating and executing against a pipeline.
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Experience operating within and leading cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Management, Implementation, Legal, Finance, Marketing, etc.).
  • Experience in the gaming industry, working with developers, and helping them succeed.
  • Understanding of mobile game development technologies, business models, value chains, and landscape.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and develop creative solutions with high attention to details and execution.
  • Ability to influence cross-functionally and externally, and work in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent product understanding and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to advocate and drive key product innovations or opportunities with the developer community.
  • Manage, lead, and grow a team of Business Development Managers to accelerate gaming businesses by helping developers build and grow their business on Google Play / Android.
  • Think strategically about emerging opportunities, challenges, and complexity in the mobile games and content ecosystem, and develop thoughtful insights, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Create and drive regional / local market strategy in partnership with cross-functional teams, and regularly communicate updates to global and regional cross-functional leadership.
  • Develop and execute plans to boost the local games ecosystem, focusing on catalog quality, pipeline creation, international growth, and product / platform innovation.
  • Lead, mentor a team, and play a active role in the India and APAC leadership group.
