Primary Responsibilities :
Take care of Status Reporting, maintain defect logs and QMS documents and interact With Onsite counterparts
Assist team in Test Plans and Execution
Comply with the standards and processes in the test organization and excellent understanding of Testing methodologies and procedures
Ensure timely project deliveries (milestones and deliverables)
Be creative and innovative to improve efficiency and quality of work
Work with less structured, more complex issues
Serve as a resource to others
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and / or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and / or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and / or work environment, alternative work
Required Qualifications :
B.Tech / MCA / Msc / MTech (Minimum 16 years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant)
4-7 years of experience working as Automation
Experience in Web and API Automation is required
Experience in testing methodologies like functional, compatibility, regression, performance and User Acceptance testing
Experience in performing tests as per business requirement of API, GUI, Batch processing applications
Experience with Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace or New Relic
Extensive experience on manual testing of Web applications, Modern Single Page Applications, Batch Job and Database along with Type of testing like Functional, Integration Testing, Compatibility, Regression, Performance and UAT
Test automation experience using Java
Hands-on experience analyzing and interpreting complex business requirements / workflows and determining Test Scenarios / Test Cases / Test Data for large / complex system maintenance and development requests
Exposure to Testing walk-through process which includes Test Case, Test Plan and Test Strategy, internal audits, review meetings, preparing MOM
Ability to effectively coordinate and communicate with client / onshore team for project related matters
Understanding of Testing Methodologies
Able to work in aggressive timelines with end to end coordination with multiple groups (Dev, QA, UAT, other teams)
Automation mindset for Test Coverage and Strategy
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Understanding of all phases of the Software Development and Testing Life Cycle
Handled Database performance tuning
Effective communications with all levels of internal and external customers and staff
Independent communication with business partners, leads others toward technical accomplishment, collaborative project team efforts and achievement of project goals
Self-driven and able to work independently with minimum support / mentoring
Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Willing to learn new technologies and implement the same in the Testing Area
Willing to work in shifts as per project requirement
