The Sec & Derivatives Supv is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to process orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team.
The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of securities and derivatives transactions.
Ensure a seamless operation’s delivery platform for the Treasury Businesses, through timely and zero-defect transaction processing in the Unit while performing daily BAU
Assist the Unit head in all regulatory, internal, client, audit and daily deliverables.
Partner with business in launching new products and enhancing customer experience on evolved products. Provide strategic and tactical support to business on day to day basis.
Interface with, and have cordial professional relationships with the various external and internal entities that are part of the transaction processing activity chain such as the Dealers, Treasury Front Office, RMs, Compliance, Client etc
Candidate needs to be have Fintech mindset to drive below :
Develop and implement technology solutions for automation of existing manual processes at the same time maintain pristine control environment.
Implement regional systems to bring standardization in processes. Adapt and promote LEAN methodology and re-engineer processes to eliminate rework and simplify
Participate in new product or system upgrade projects, including assist in workflow design or testing as required
Resolve escalated issues and provide appropriate closure to those problems
Identify control deficiencies and implement appropriate procedures
Serve as backup for manager as required
3-4 years of operations management experience within market operations and Banking / NBFC industry.
Experience of managing complex suite of market products and deep knowledge of product dynamics.
Proven track record of exceeding performance expectations and delivering results.
Knowledge and experience of managing crisis and contingency scenarios
Strong execution orientation with a proven and demonstrated track record of results in the management and transformation of Product capabilities.
Candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA from a premier institute
The candidate should have good communication skills, eye to detail and good interpersonal skills
