A global leader in digital and mobile, Verizon Media is shaping the future of media.The Targeting, Insights & Measurement team is responsible for providing digital advertising solutions for clients around the world.

The team delivers data-driven campaign strategy recommendations to advertisers and agencies. This role focus on the creation, maintenance, and development of insights and solutions using 1st-party data.

Daily Activities Responsibilities :

  • Around the clock and around the globe, Yahoo conducts thousands of studies each year to understand our diverse audiences and address topics of critical importance to our product teams, senior leadership, and advertising partners
  • Our team and tools are instrumental to our understanding of customer needs and priorities, and to the ways in which our advertising programs drive value for our advertisers
  • The Sales Insights Team impacts Verizon Media's short and long-term revenue by creating data-driven insights for new business pitches and renewals
  • The Sr Manager will lead the team to :

  • Provide proof points for the Verizon Media value proposition narratives related to products, consumers and advertising platforms / solutions
  • Define the first-party data solutions on behalf of the Sales Insights team
  • Create solutions to efficiently distribute data-driven insights to Sales and clients
  • Define a vision for the service of the team
  • Manage timelines and executional strategies for projects
  • You Must Have Minimum Qualifications : - 7+ years experience in qualitative and quantitative advertising analysis with strong customer-facing, consultative expertise.

  • Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills.- Strong project management skills.- Experience with Hive, Pig, SQL or similar languages.
  • Experience designing and managing big data architecture and solutions.- Deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem, including video, search and nativePreferred qualifications : - Advanced degree
