We are searching for a highly motivated, creative engineer with experience in software design who is passionate about their work.

As part of your responsibility, you will verify software for functional safety as well as functionality. You will influence state-of-the-art designs and support the launch of the product.

What you’ll be doing :

Analyze software for functional safety standards such as ISO26262 for different ASIL requirements

Develop and maintain work products defined by the safety standards

Establish and monitor development flows and processes to achieve and sustain required quality and safety levels

Handle software compliance against safety standards, collaborate on efforts, measure results, and provide status reports

Work very closely with hardware teams. Participate in hardware verification, test planning, coverage closure etc.

Develop test plans and verify new software functionality (not limited to safety)

There will be multiple opportunities to collaborate and communicate effectively with the architecture and software teams.

What we need to see :

2+ years of industry experience in a related field

Hold a B.Tech. or higher degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering

Good understanding of software quality concepts and processes

Practical experience with certifying software against known industry standards like ISO26262

Proficiency in C / C++ and coding standards like Automotive MISRA or similar

Strong background in real-time embedded operating systems, algorithms and data structures

Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessor, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA, etc.)

A strong teammate, self-motivated with a positive attitude.

Ability to work closely with both software and hardware designers to create new features and solutions.

Ways to stand out from the crowd :

  • Hands-on experience writing / testing complex device driver software, RTOS, or Firmware
  • Experience with hardware / software security analysis and application of security principles
  • Familiarity with Hardware development (Verilog, digital logic verification, simulation)
