This individual is responsible for setting up and leading theReporting and Insights practice for Saks Off Fifth at HBC India.
The role will workclosely with key business stakeholders by transitioning standard reports,executive reports and other ad-hoc reports currently produced by the business.
The role will be responsible for setting up a MicroStrategy reporting functionfor Saks Off Fifth. The role will report directly to Sr.
Manager, Analytics anddirectly communicate with senior leaders in the Business Units.
In this role, the Manager will be responsible for idea generation,roadmap management and driving cross-BU efficiencies. In this role, the Managerwill play a key role in building out the Tech- Analytics roadmap as it relatesto Data Engineering pipelines, new data exploration needed and productionizingdashboards / visualizations.
Who You Are :
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology ora technical discipline (e.g., engineering) preferred
8-10 years of overall experience with at least 5 years' experiencein MicroStrategy
2+ years managing people both individual contributors and teams / projects.
Strong technical proficiency with Tableau, MicroStrategy or otherbusiness intelligence tools.
Familiarity with cloud (Snowflake) environments for data andproven ability to drive efficiencies through automation
Fluent with the implemented MicroStrategy security model
Fluent in a standard development methodology
Sound knowledge of Data Warehousing (Star / Snowflake schema)concepts.
Strong experience on Schema objects like Logical tables,Attributes, Facts, Hierarchies etc.
Strong experience on Public objects like Metrics, Filter, Prompts,Custom Groups, Consolidations, Reports, Documents and Dashboards
Musthave experience in the following :
Familiar with iOS platform, XCode IDE, MicroStrategy Mobile SDK,and the MicroStrategy iOS Client Configuration
Familiarity with operating system, relational databases and datasources MicroStrategy connects.
Familiar with MicroStrategy Administration Tasks including :
Intelligent Server Administration

Subject matter expert on AllData / Database technologies, BI Architecture and Visualization
Key thought partner forNorth American business teams on self-service reporting
Manages team of analysts / senior analysts responsible for individual projects
Builds new visualization capabilitiesfor Saks Off Fifth by translating business needs and seeking out the datanecessary through internal and external partnerships
Defines team vision andorchestrates projects, processes and cross-functional task forces to delivermeaningful outcomes in a global delivery setting
Prepares and deliversexecutive ready presentations highlighting insights and recommendations

Visualization and Automation : Proficiencywith MicroStrategy and the ability to set up self-serve reports and dashboardsfor the businesses to consume
Business Acumen : Goodunderstanding of retail and retail data. Ability to connect informationconsumption of multiple business units and drive towards metric and reportrationalization
Project Management : Strongattention to detail, willingness to wear multiple hats, building and tracking awork plan in a fast-based environment, working with Engineering and Productteams in AGILE environments to plan for and execute sound data trackingsolutions
