The Renewal Specialist will be responsible for renewing Support Maintenance and software contracts. It is an administrative role with sales orientated tasks.
The goal of this position is to drive contract renewal rates to 100% and drive upsell opportunities uncovered during the renewal process.
Essential Tasks, Duties &
Generate Renewal Quotes (partners) / invoices (end-users) 90 days prior to expiration
Validate and confirm the accuracy of all supporting data for the quote and work to resolve any discrepancies.
Work with customers, partners and Unitrends staff to build relationships and expedite resolution of customer maintenance issues.
Continuously contribute to the improvement of the renewal process to increase revenue
Analyze customer contracts for activity tracking and contract reinstatement
Work with Unitrends team to understand the policies and procedures which guide the development, negotiation, and closure of renewals
Escalate issues as appropriate using clear documentation
Other duties as assigned.

Must be organized and efficient to keep up in a fast-paced environment
Adept at working in high pressure situations
Salesforce (CRM) experience is a plus
Well versed in Microsoft Office products
Relevant experience in Account Management, Customer Service, or Order Management role(s)
Bachelors degree preferred
Two (2) years of experience in a similar environment or an equivalent combination of skills, training, knowledge, and abilities highly preferred
