IT Digital Innovation Lead Job Description The Digital Innovation Lead is responsible for driving and managing the Digital Innovation Hub in the APAC region, working closely with other Hubs around the globe, to help create a global network for Digital Innovation.
The role will work closely with the Business and IT leadership to create new digital capabilities for the growth of the KC business.
This role will work in a matrix regionally and globally. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with the Business
Build trusted partnerships with business, functional and end-user stakeholders.
Take part in regional and global meetings and act as a meaningful contributor, promoting Innovation agenda
Actively contribute, Co-develop and / or co-own Innovation Themes (regional, global, by sectors)
Work with the business leaders and IT business partners understand the business challenges that we need to solve
Collaborate with the business stakeholders to develop new business models
Be a thought leader and a go-to for disruption and innovation
Work closely with APAC IT VP and functional BPs in the region and in global to drive digital innovation capabilities and to gain alignment on the Digital Innovation for regional adoption Lead scouting & technology evaluation
Manage the scouting and sourcing process, building an operating plan of activities, events and initiatives, in alignment with global Digital Innovation Leads and APAC leadership
Build a network of startups and technology partners in the APAC ecosystem, driving all networking and outreach activities and acting as KC focal point in the innovation eco system
Evaluate and vet technologies, working closely with IT and business SMEs through the process
Partner with external thought leaders, organizations, and innovators to set and advance focus areas and learning agenda Drive pilots and proof of concepts resulting in scaled adoption of new digital capabilities
Define, own and execute the Innovation Pipeline (regional, global, sectors)
Act as a partner to bring the startup community and KC leadership to the table to develop use cases that can be piloted
Conceptualize digital solutions based on leading edge technologies that can disrupt or elevate the business
Leverage IT resources to run an agile methodology for ongoing project delivery with frequent demos and check ins
Drive the scope, estimation and the overall project plan from the discovery to launch phase for the pilot project including a pilot strategy
Define KPIs and success criteria for each pilot working closely with business & IT leads
Oversee pilot program and ensure it complies with KC processes
Evaluate and present the results of the pilot to leadership and gain support for scaling the pilots that have the most enterprise impact
Manage handover of successful pilots to IT teams for scaling

Act as a digital mentor for Sr.
leaders in the region to increase their digital acumen and help them with their digital journey
Act as an intrapreneur driving the creation of innovation platforms, ideas and capabilities Capability deep dive, transformation and innovation
Globally lead and have an in-depth knowledge in one / two of the Innovation themes that the Innovation group is promoting
Build clear plans to enable this knowledge to turn into value driven conversations, investment prioritizations and function / business ability to absorb change
Be known as an expert in the subject that you are leading and develop platforms to apply the relevant digital technology capabilities to make KC ready for the Digital Future CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION : KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Bachelor's degree is required; At least 15 years of experience working in the digital and / or innovation space
Experience managing and driving innovation projects or experience working in an innovation lab environment
Strong understanding of business strategy, deep technology skills and a creative mindset
Prior experience with an early or growth stage startup or experience providing advisory / mentorship of startups
Strong relationships with the startup ecosystem including leading startup founders, Venture Capitalists, Incubators and Accelerators
Experience building digital solutions landscape specifically around mobile, sensors, data, media, content, eCommerce & retail innovation
Skilled at managing stakeholders, clients (internal or external) and presenting business cases for new ideas and initiatives
Excellent relationship management skills (collaboration, facilitation, communication) and the ability to engage business team members
Effectively manage ambiguity, change and conflict
Standard) Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory
Standard) Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
Ability to travel up to 20%, may include international travel Global VISA and Relocation Specifications : K-C requires that an employee have authorization to work in the country in which the role is based.
