Job Description : Job Description : Essential Job Functions : As a TPF Application developer / Support Analyst, he / she will take on a combination of the following responsibilities : Able to do requirements analysis, understand the business flows to translate them into Technical Requirements.
Able to code, edit, and debug programs, unit / integration test, deploy using TPF Assembler, Sabretalk, TPF C / C++, TPFDF for the assigned bugs / enhancements.
Able to troubleshoot and identify bugs in existing programs, design and release bug fixes. Can design and develop new programs, analyse current programs and processes.
Collaborate with project team in understanding customer needs. Follow the best practices in software development and maintenance such as standards, documenting code and other practices necessary.
Ability to work independently with customer. Able to deliver the assigned work with quality within agreed timeliness. Should be able to support in shifts and support the applications in the off-business hours & weekends.
Mandatory Skills : Technical : 3+ years of experience in TPF Assembler, Sabretalk, TPF-DF, TPF-C / C++, ALCS (Airline Control System) and / or GDS Good working knowledge of zTPF-GI or IBM Tool kit tools (Trace Log, Code Coverage, Performance Analyzer), CVS, PB03TSO, Sabreview, Art, dump reading and analysis Good functional knowledge of Airline Passenger Service Systems (PSS) and or Flight operation system(FOS) Functional : Exposure to Airlines domain of either Check-in, DCS / ACI, Reservations, Ticketing, FOS is highly preferred.
Should take ownership of the assigned assignments / tasks. Ability to deliver under tough project timelines when in need.
Able to understand Software Development Life Cycle. Possess strong logical / analytical skills to address job related problems.

Should be flexible to work in shifts (24 / 7) if needed Exposure to IT Service Management Good to have an experience working in Agile or Waterfall software development process Nice to have skills : Application modernization experience in moving from Legacy ZTPF technologies to modern technology.
Mainframe Modernization skills with Java, Azure Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, information systems or related field preferred Three or more years of support services or project or program experience Experience working with the technology industry Experience working with company products and operating systems Experience working with computer systems and their use Work Environment : Office environment
