The ES Data Partner is a member of the Global Operations Centre (GOC) team and is responsible for and has a focus on HR systems production support, data quality, reporting, audits and process improvement initiatives to support the broader global Employee Success objectives and ultimately, Salesforce’s growth.
This role reports to the Supervisor GOC EED and is critical to ensuring the success of our employees at Salesforce.

You interface between BT and COEs to drive business results through the effective implementation, use, enhancement and maintenance of a variety of technologies including Workday.
You'll develop playbooks, road maps, and tactics to inform, persuade, influence, direct and facilitate a successful partnership between the broader business and ES.
build strong relationships across global stakeholder groups, connect the dots between business wants and Workday functionality, and who can also roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

Responsibilities :
The responsibilities of the Employee Data Partner include but are not limited to the following :
Coordinate and execute global E2E UAT for Workday updates to ensure business processes, and mass loads (EIBs) are functioning as expected
Understand and leverage the Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB) tool, supporting / troubleshooting of inbound and outbound integrations, changes to existing integrations, and develop net new integrations
Resolve and prioritize complex process issues through consultation with stakeholders / COEs and deep collaboration with other PS and technology teams
Implement and execute on service delivery improvements and new process / scope changes, including M&A, New country expansion, program / project support.
Work through user feedback and collaborate globally on initiatives to address employee / business needs, including consulting on content, process, and policy improvements.
Develop deep expertise in the systems supporting HR Operations service areas, troubleshooting day-to-day issues and consulting with partners on recommended changes
Act as primary contact for ES (HR) teams and senior PS leadership on people data-and-analytics related queries that helps to identify trends in the process and inform decision-making
Create new and enhance existing processes and documentation to ensure data quality and drive clean data culture
Extremely knowledgeable on Workday Business Processes, determining and communicating best practices in entering and maintaining worker data
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis and resolve issues end-to-end
Act as Workday SME, ensuring continuous support of business change, articulating business requirements and testing new solutions that impact ES (HR) and the wider business functions (COEs).
Maintain documentation for new business processes, including updating existing documentation based on enhancement made to existing processes and tools
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis and resolve issues
Serve as the in-house escalation point for advanced Tier 2 issues
Actively research for new enhancements and releases in Workday, and continually challenge decisions to deliver a Workday environment that is best aligned with the needs of a global company.
Creates, maintains and supports a variety of standard and custom reports, queries and metrics to provide business insight into human capital data in line with reporting governance model
Identify opportunities to alter business processes and configuration to better dovetail with Workday’s strengths
Assists in the training and on-boarding of new Employee Data Analysts and Specialists
Lead multiple projects
Mentor junior members of the employee data team
Act as a point of contact for issues that arise in the absence of the team's manager
Required skills / experience :
Master / Bachelor's degree
5 - 6 years of work experience in an HR Data Analyst or HR Data Partner role and ability to thrive in fast paced, collaborative working environment.
4 - 5 years of experience with EIBs in Workday HCM Module
Experience working on projects focused on the enhancement of the employee lifecycle through process improvements, automation, data & insights
Excel experience (advance) - Experience working with large data sets utilizing advanced formulas and functionality
Ability to coordinate and manage complex cross-functional projects given multiple competing priorities or perspectives.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate data speak into stakeholder-speak and deliver presentations that influence stakeholder decision-making
