To provide effective demand servicing to customers. Ensure effective communication to customers (internal / external ) on status of supply and availability of material.

What will you be doing?

Order Management

  • Sales order processing (create, change, reject) of all order types upon rule set provided by the principal
  • Responsible for CSD activities for Catalyst division
  • Close interaction with Business Support, Affiliates and Agents
  • Release incl. SAP delivery creation, monitor and check open orders (L / C, delivery block, pricing, export licence, bottleneck product)
  • Review periodically of pending orders co-ordinate with BU for suitable action
  • Capture and maintain customer / country shipping instructions / requirements for effective and efficient order
  • Communication

  • Close interaction with Marketing Service, Business Support, Affiliates and Agents
  • Timely communication to the customer on their order position on update supply / availability
  • Co-ordinate with CRM for getting SO released from Credit Block
  • Communicate and act on delays (communicate with customers (internal / external), affiliates, agents,
  • Transport Manager, Order Fulfiller, Credit Management)
  • Give feedback on order status and handle issues and claims
  • Proactive information of all involved parties
  • Capture and maintain customer / country shipping instructions / requirements for effective and efficient order execution
  • Service Level Agreement

  • Achieve 100% delivery performance with customers
  • Complaint Handling

  • Capture customer complaints / complaint notifications in QNS system
  • To initiate QNS assigned task against customer returns for commercial or quality reasons
  • Coordination

  • Communicate with customers (internal / external), Affiliates, Transport, Order Fulfiller, Credit Management
  • Feed back to the customer, OC / Dispatch informattion, Status of the order
  • Block / Unblock & Reservation of materials as per forcaste from customer / Marketing needs
  • Initiate new Customer creation request
  • ISO Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to internal and external guidelines as per ISO
  • Implementation of quality / continuous improvement
  • Export Customer Service

  • Close interaction with Business Support, Affiliates and Agents
  • Manage all customer inquiries within the organization (including shortages and solutions, scheduling etc.)
  • Solve or escalate issues / requests
  • Sales administration

  • Check incoming orders to ensure they meet our terms of sale
  • Provide customers with technical product information (MSDS)
  • Ask for Freight Rates if required
  • Request / initiate different master data in the area of sales and distribution (such as prices, customermasterdata); request maintenance of product master data if required
  • Compile and prepare informational data as requested
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

  • Customer specific reporting as requested by Customer

  • Education :

  • BA / B Sc / B Com degree or equivalent in related field
  • Business experience :

  • 2-5 years relevant experience in Customer Service.
  • Working experience with an captive or outsourced shared service center
  • SAP SD module experience
  • Quality experience in operational order execution and good understanding of the OTC process
  • Good understanding of the operational OTC process
  • Additional Qualifications :

  • Profeciency in MS-Office, General knowledge of SAP SD module
