The IT Global Development & Delivery (D&D) organization partners with our businesses and local IT Business Relationship Managers to build and deploy high value IT solutions that bring new business capabilities to life.
D&D has 4 key functions :
Delivery : Deliver high quality projects, maximizing solution commonality and reusability across markets
Development : Lead the technical design, build, and quality assurance of all technical customizations and solution development landscapes
Planning & Testing Services : Deliver release planning, testing, and D&D processes / services / tools to enable delivery excellence and reduce risk to PepsiCo’s IT landscape
Enterprise First / Design Authority : Build a global digital foundation with harmonized business processes

We are seeking a The S / 4 Competency Center Lead accountable for managing the SAP S / 4 template globally. They will lead a global team that provides comprehensive S / 4 solution services (such as design, configuration, build, testing, and deployment / HyperCare) to individual sector S / 4 projects.
This role will partner closely with the IT Solution Architecture (Design Authority) to protect the S / 4 global template and ensure customization requests are first aligned with the global process leads.
The team will be comprised of functional and technical SMEs for each business process (such as Order To Cash, Record to Report, etc.
that are responsible for solution design and QA, while strategic systems integrators will provide development services based on project demand.
The role will be based in Hyderabad, India
Qualifications / Requirements
Functional Responsibilities :
Manage the S / 4 global template releases which includes the evaluation, estimation, design, configuration, build and test to meet the approved new requirements / change requests initiated by sector S / 4 projects
Design and implement S / 4 frameworks to provide scalability, reusability, and performance optimization
Facilitates process governance with D&D Solution Architects
Partner with strategic vendors to develop flexible staffing models for S / 4 projects
Establish operating procedures and ways of working for the S / 4 Competency Center
Manages S / 4 baseline budget and ensures budget and productivity objectives are met
Ensures all S / 4-related quality, compliance and fiscal standards are met
Ensures effective resource utilization across the S / 4 global team
Stays up-to-date with technology and industry trends by proactively participating in training, self-study, conferences, webcasts, user group participation, reading or other relevant means
Key Competencies Required :
Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers, resolving very difficult and sensitive issues effectively
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Solves highly complex, politically sensitive problems across teams
Strong financial management experience with proven ability to manage annual budget
Strong management skills with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent.
Key Qualifications / Requirements :
12-15 years of experience of leading large SAP transformation
2+ years of leading S / 4 and HANA development teams, including experience managing large global teams
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree or equivalent experience required
Strong industry and functional expertise with configuration and design experience on SAP projects
Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have : SAP SolMan 7+, MS VSTS, Quality Center and MS Project
