Job Description

This position executes technical, commercial and product application solutions. A sales manager serves as a valuable resource and first contact for customer within the sales territory.

  • This position will mature in experience and expertise, as well as gain knowledgeable in the metal cutting, lubricants & coupling Industry;
  • as such, the incumbent is expected to manage all customer accounts assigned, take on strategic projects, act as a trainer for field support team members (technicians), and step up as interim leader when necessary.

    Key Results / Accountability :

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and understand their needs and concerns.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products / services.
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
  • Ensure stock availability for sales and demonstrations.
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
  • Negotiate / close deals and handle complaints or objections.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve better results.
  • Prepare forecast reports & status on multiple key aspects of the assigned area of responsibility including CRM data base reporting
  • Key challenges :

  • Travelling job, 6 days working week.
  • Technical proficiency in Industrial applications and lubricants.
  • Technical know-how of customer processes & market trends.
  • Requirements

    Education : A Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. or B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering.

    Experience : This role requires a minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial consumables sales, should possess sound understanding of Industrial applications such as machining, lubricants, maintenance etc.

    Must have knowledge of customers. Selling experience with Metal working fluids, Lubricants, Couplings, and Filtration shall be preferred.

    Competencies :

  • Ability to demonstrate Value Creation for customers
  • Proficiency in English & local language. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience as a sales executive or relevant role.
  • Strong networking and influencing skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, CRM, Mobile & Web applications.
  • Thorough understanding of Sales, Marketing and Negotiating techniques.
  • Fast learning speed and high Passion for sales.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
  • Having a two wheeler with valid driving licence is MUST
