An exciting opportunity to join Allocations team which works to ensure Global Corporate Function Expenses and Headcount allocations to the Divisions, in accordance with the allocations governance policy.
This team interacts with the business in gathering data for calculating allocation statistics, conducting Labour studies and answering their queries.
In addition, allocations team also works across the organization to ensure the execution of strategic decision and implementation of any major changes to allocation processes and design.
Responsibilities in this role include :
You will own system monthly allocation processes using ITBM system. Collaborate with partner teams to ensure that monthly activities complete on track
You will participate in Planning and execution for half-yearly stat update allocations in accordance with agreed timelines
You will be responsible to review monthly allocation and explain MoM, QoQ & YoY variances as well as historical periods
You will advise controllers / clients on potential impact of re-organizations or change of allocation keys
You are going to report monthly important metric and allocation Dashboard to Sr. Management
Participate in Forecast and Financial Plan key updating process
Improve operational efficiency of calculation and update of allocation keys by maintaining / enhancing Excel templates, MS Access tools
Provide timely and accurate response to Corporate Functions' and Divisions’ queries
Continuous system and improvements in execution, building control mechanism and documentation of end to end allocation processes
Mentoring and reviewing team performance and working on area
You have working experience of 10+ years in either or a combination of the following : Banking services, Financial Services, Audit & Advisory services industry
You have strong academic background. CA or MBA in Finance from reputed institutes
You are proficient in MS Office is required. Experience in VBA is desirable but not mandatory
You have prior experience in Cost Allocations and month end closure processes is highly preferred
Strong communication in written and oral and inter-personal skills
You have good team-player
