  • In this role, you will be responsible to Work closely with and within Property & Casualty Insurance Finance operations management team.
  • You are to work on Cash Application, Research and resolution of Aged Receivable balances, Communication with Underwriter / Broker to resolve unmatched cash, Journal Entries), etc.
  • Responsibilities

  • Understanding of Bank statements, remittances / invoices from Brokers and Should have experience and understanding of Surety Business (incoming & outgoing)
  • Identification and recording of Incoming cash receipts for Insurance Business Different types of policies, Manual / Automated programs, Non-programs etc.
  • Perform and review multi-currency revaluations for foreign currency cash receipts and Prepare internal reports for various partners
  • Prepare journal entries for cash (incoming & outgoing) & Intercompany in accordance with company policy and generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Research and resolve open items for Bank reconciliations and coordinate with multiple partners to provide a resolution.
  • Ensure key risks and issues relating to Cash applications to identify, detail and communicate to the appropriate partners and senior management on time.
  • Actively work towards streamlining of the Unreconciled Cash & build effective controls and building deep domain depth in the team around Cash application for Property &
  • Casualty Insurance Co.

    Qualifications we seek in you

    Minimum Qualification

  • B.Com Graduate
  • Preferred Qualification

  • Knowledge of Commercial and specialty Insurance operation and ability to balance varied volumes of workloads and to reach targets and deadlines on a timely basis
  • Understanding of Life cycle of Insurance company
  • Must demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, energy and flexibility
  • Innovative and always looking for continuous improvement and Self-starter, with ability to work under own initiative.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and MS Office Skill
  • Insurance / Reinsurance Cash Application background would be an added advantage
