Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for marketing German Pork & Chicken Products and services to new and existing customers in entire Guwahati & North East Market & North Bengal
  • Responsible for Primary and Secondary Sales for the assigned region (Retail / Institutions / Modern trade / HoReCa)
  • Should expand the markets of Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura, Aurunachal Pradesh Nagaland, Meghalaya, Nepal & Bhutan etc.
  • Siliguri, Darjeeling Districts along with Hills (Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Kurseong, Miriketc), Gangtok (Sikkim) & Bhutan (throughJaigaon&Phuntsholing) if required
  • Acting as a contact between the company and its existing and potential clients
  • Arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;
  • Recording Sales, Review own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
  • Review the annual performance and develop annual marketing plans / budget for all product groups as a contribution to the corporate planning / budgeting.
  • Responsible for increasing distribution in the region by retail business.
  • Responsible for Brand Promotional activities and building brand image in respective cities
  • Responsible for appointment of promoters in the region if required
  • Developing new customers in the designated area
  • Visiting the customers such as retailers, hotels and institutions.
  • Visiting all store & deli counters to check the inventory & stocks
  • Maintain Existing Customers through good communication and negotiation skills
  • Ensure regular Payment follow-up and Collecting the payment
  • Enlistment of company's products in Modern Trade / Retail outlets.
  • Responsible for pack wise penetration in the given region for all SKU's as per company policy.
  • Responsible for competitor analysis and increase Retail market share of the company.
  • Responsible for retail / HoReCa outlet performance and keeping a track through MIS
  • Liaison with inter departments of the company for smooth operation.
  • Periodical review of sales team performance.
  • Preparing Daily / Weekly / Monthly sales report.
  • Any other MIS report if required.
  • Adhering to the company policy
