Job Description :
SAP PP-VC (Variant Configuration) Functional Analyst should have a good understanding of products modelling and configuring in SAP system.
This position will have the ability to clearly understand the business requirements and work closely to fulfil the business needs.
A strong understanding of SAP PP concepts and other Integrated modules is required for this position & Role.
Job Functions :
To Implement and support VARIANT CONFIGURATION for a given product in the SAP system, which can also include
creation of new characteristics, classes, dependencies, variant functions, variant tables, etc.
Exposure to integration aspects of Variant Configuration with Business Process such as Sales, Production, Purchasing and Costing and technologies including IDOC, ALE, RFC, PI and Web Services.
Lead the efforts of SAP team to maximize the effectiveness of SAP Solutions to support business goals of the company.
Demonstrate capability to utilize best practices to support SAP ERP Configurations across modules for the business.
Proven ability to understand the business processes of the organization and the core application environments.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
Experience :
Must have at least 3+yrs of experience on SAP VC (Variant Configuration) and overall of 6+ years in SAP PP (Production & Planning) module.
Must have experience of all Life cycles of Implementing an SAP PP-VC Solutions
Life science business experience is a definite plus for this position. Ability to be productive in a fast paced environment with minimal direction
Knowledge and Skills
Must have completed at least 1 End to End SAP PP-VC implementation projects for a customer in same or similar industry.
Knowledge of Apparel industry processes will be an added advantage
Tactical Thinking and the ability to execute successfully
Wide degree of technical skills and creativity is expected
Must understand the integration technologies like EDI, ALE / IDOCs, PI, Web Services.
Good Problem Solving and Communication skills.
Ability to work in cross-cultural set-up
Interact with the business teams
