Itron is looking for Oracle Cloud (SCM / Oracle SCM cloud) and PD module under Product Management and associated modules support Professional to be part of our growing IT center in Bangalore, India.

You will part of our global IT organization and will be joining a global, leading technology, remote support team responsible for resolving complex issues every day for internal customers.

Itron IT provides support for all internal systems and applications issues in Itron. IT Operations team is responsible for providing remote support, including end-user support, business systems (e.

g. Oracle EBS, Salesforce), Collaboration tools and systems, networking and systems management among many other technical services.

Qualification / Skills Requirements :

  • Should have minimum 5 years of experience working with Oracle EBS environment in techno functional role.
  • Should have knowledge of Oracle Cloud (SCM / Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud) and especially the Product Development module under Product Management.
  • Product Information Management knowledge will also be good.

  • Should have Domain knowledge in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) like Item, BOM / Structure, Revisions, Change Management, Change Orders, AMLs, Organizations (Orgs) / Sites, lifecycle etc.
  • Desirable to have implementation knowledge of Oracle Cloud,
  • Should have experience working on Oracle R12 environment and Cloud.
  • Oracle applications certifications is desired.
  • Experience in providing Production Support, analyzing and resolving L1 / L2 issues in PD cloud environment.
  • Must have experience in Oracle Supply chain planning modules and Global Order Promising cloud (GOP)
  • Should have implementation / Production support experience to handle issues in Product Development Module under Product Management.
  • Project experience in PD cloud module, exception handling, release management from cloud to EBS.
  • Integration experience between Oracle cloud and EBS,
  • Responsibilities :

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing excellence in customer service support, diagnosis, replication, resolving Functional / Technical issues of simple, complex and critical service requests.

    The focus of this position is to provide Customer Service on functional level and to ultimately drive complete and total resolution of each issue reported by Itron employees and users of Oracle eBusiness suite.

    As functional Support Professional, you will perform functional, process related and maintenance activities to include but not limited to the following :

  • Responding to functional / techno functional assistance incidents from the business users, problem analysis and change implementation.
  • Provide Route Cause Analysis (RCA) to the recurring problems and resolution.
  • Ability to debug the system for issues reported and provide clarity / work around to business users on the fix / gap identified.
  • Contribute to building knowledge base for issue resolution and commonly asked questions / issues.
  • Build automation and scripts to proactively identify issues, job failures and resolving those.
  • Identify / modify standard / custom reports that are needed to produce Statutory, Management, Reconciliation reports and others.
  • Provide timely and effective reporting / updates on status of work being done for Incidents, Service Requests and change implementation.
  • Working with the super users to resolve all issues for the reported incidents. Research the issues on Metalink / Oracle Support site and Open the TAR / SAR with Oracle for critical issues.
  • Implement various improvised processes to prevent user errors and stabilizing the system.
  • Flexible to take up shifts in other time zones.
  • Education : BE, BTech, MCA MBA, MCom or equivalent from recognized University. Other qualifications with adequate experience may be considered.
