ProductOwner IME(Retail Exec / SFA / DMS / Sales Force Efficiency / DPSM) P1 / P2

TheSales ExecutionProduct Owneris responsible for K-C’s overall technology vision, strategy and roadmap in relationtoSales Execution Technologies (Retail Execution / Sales Force Automation / Distributor Management Solution / Sales Force Efficiency / Distribution, Pricing, Shelving and Merchandising)and Scaled Production model.

The Product Owner will partner with the Sales ProductManagers(specialists in each area)toimplement theSales Execution toolsto enable the business and financial objectives both at theregion and local market level.

The rolewill provide ongoing technology thought leadership, insights and recommendations for emerging and innovative technologies and define the ongoing roadmap and plan for building, deploying and adopting both enterprise and tactical capabilities that are needed toflawless and Efficient Sales Execution at the Point-of-Sales(Modern and Traditional Trade).

The role has close partnership withSenior Sales ProductManagersorProductLineManagers,the Sales Teams (Regional and Local),Regional ITSales Business Partnersand Delivery Teamto define and create Sales Technology products,manageongoing technology investment budget as well as exploration and evaluation of new technologies & partnerships needed to becomethe best Sales Execution in the marketplace (Perfect Store, Perfect Order and flawless execution).

The role hasa deepshopper-centric mind set and ability to apply understanding of the breadth of interactive &salestechnologies in service of that, as well as be well connected with ongoing digital innovation, toolsand platforms related to sales execution.

Key Accountabilities

Work in the day-to-day of the product development, handling the story telling writing, backlog definitions, align priorities with the business partners and delivery team,define priorities for the scrum team related to her / his product, perform story grooming, define with the business or business partner the product vision, strategy, markets and alternatives.

Partner with productmanagers, regional IT sales business partners, Delivery Teamand stakeholders to develop and maintain the strategic vision and priorities for the product (process and technology aspects)

Help the ProductManagertodefine the products ROI, including budget and / or P&L, to maximize the value of the product over its life cycle.

This role should be abletomanagethe budget and product P&Lhelping theProduct ownerto get a right visibility of the projectvitalsigns.

Act as an entrepreneur, performing market and competitive analysis to inform product innovation

Partner withproductManagers, IT Sales Business Partners, Delivery Teamandstakeholders to manage feature and deployment roadmaps and measure and manage market adoption

Managetogether with ProductManagersthevendors toinfluence software roadmaps anddelivery offeaturesbased on agreed SLAs and pricing models

Provision technology, including vendor research, request for proposals, and partnering with Procurement on vendor selection and contracts

Build relationships together with Senior ProductManagerswith internal and external service providers and support teams to ensure operating efficiency and stability

Perform customer follow-up and maintain healthy customer satisfaction scores

Other :

  • Decompose the strategic vision into releases comprised of minimal viable products *Actively guide and inspire the team around the vision andthe featurepriorities *Manage stakeholder expectations and requests for product changes*Articulate the strategic vision into tactical user stories *Create, manage, and prioritize product backlogto streamline execution of product objectives *Ensurethatvolume of work flowing to team optimizes team performance *Actively participate in Agileceremonies
  • Key Qualifications and Experiences

    Bachelor's degree, ideally inITorabusiness discipline

    1to3years of experience onDomain knowledge around theproducts owned by the Product Owner(Sales Execution, Sales Force Automation, DMS,Telesales, Route Optimization, Sales Force Effectiveness and Efficiency, Advance Analytics for Sales,advances sales capabilities like Image Recognition,etc.)

    Experience with capability / product development, including visioning,road mapping, feature prioritization and go to market strategy

    Ability to maintain ROI / budget / P&L

    Ability to inspire a teamto act as a small businessjointlyaccountable for its product

    Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration at all levels

    Experience on an Agile team

    Certified Product Owner (preferred)

    Domain Qualifications

    Must have deep knowledge of strong customerfirst approach. Implement strategies and solutions that are focused on going to where consumers are and leverage / implement technology quickly and decisively to get the job done

    Must possess the skills / talent / expertise to steward the convergence of technology andsalesand serve as theField Salesteams’ fiduciary forSalesTechnology investments.

    Must excel at pro-actively identifying and implementing new tech platforms into the org (, Digital Merchandizing, Image Recognition, AI,Crowd-sourcing,etc.

    canbuild a high level of credibility and demonstrate strong initiative to move the organization in a new direction to :

    Be the face of technology for Sales Teams and Senior Sales Product Owners and bridged any gaps between Sales and IT

    Be a core member of the Leadership team forSales technologies. This requires someone who can lead and hold their own withthe Senior Product Owners, sales leadership, sales teams, sales business partners and Regional IT leaders.

    Deepunderstanding of and experiencewith Sales Technologies for CPG companies, including innovations as image recognition, digital merchandising, sales force effectiveness tools, etc.

    Extensive experience working withCPG companies or sales technologies vendors

    Extensive expertise ineducatingsales teamson technologies

    Excellent relationship management skills (collaboration, facilitation, communication) and the ability to engage business team members using business and industry terms
