Work closely with on- and offshore engineering teams to drive PDLC
Supervise team members and ensure that deadlines are followed.
Prepare status reports and for various stakeholders.
Use Agile processes when while interacting with various stakeholders including, product managers, product owners, engineering managers, design leads, QA, SREs, and other critical stakeholders to deliver high-quality features
Build and manage project schedules and track team tasks : Clarify and drive project commitments and priorities, establish and maintain clear chains of accountability, and clearly communicate to project stakeholders
Address bottlenecks : Provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints
Understand release interdependencies : Drive towards solutions for delivering complex, multi-tiered cloud systems
Take responsibility : Own release schedules and milestones, keeping the momentum high
Communicate effectively : Able to interact and communicate well with off- and onshore teams to help build processes and maintain efficiency across cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field
Minimum of 8 years of total experience with at least 2 years in project management function in a product development organization
Deep understanding and practical exposure to PDLC, project management principle, agile and / or other software development methodologies
Should have performed hands-on product development work before moving into project management. Exposure to AWS, Web Content Management, Open source tools and technologies is an added advantage
Excellent written and verbal skills, negotiation, influence skills and partnering skills
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and work with cross-functional teams
Passion to improve processes, increase velocity, and promote collaboration
PMP, Prince certification is preferred.
