Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with on- and offshore engineering teams to drive PDLC
  • Supervise team members and ensure that deadlines are followed.
  • Prepare status reports and for various stakeholders.
  • Use Agile processes when while interacting with various stakeholders including, product managers, product owners, engineering managers, design leads, QA, SREs, and other critical stakeholders to deliver high-quality features
  • Build and manage project schedules and track team tasks : Clarify and drive project commitments and priorities, establish and maintain clear chains of accountability, and clearly communicate to project stakeholders
  • Address bottlenecks : Provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints
  • Understand release interdependencies : Drive towards solutions for delivering complex, multi-tiered cloud systems
  • Take responsibility : Own release schedules and milestones, keeping the momentum high
  • Communicate effectively : Able to interact and communicate well with off- and onshore teams to help build processes and maintain efficiency across cross-functional teams
  • Skills :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of total experience with at least 2 years in project management function in a product development organization
  • Deep understanding and practical exposure to PDLC, project management principle, agile and / or other software development methodologies
  • Should have performed hands-on product development work before moving into project management. Exposure to AWS, Web Content Management, Open source tools and technologies is an added advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, negotiation, influence skills and partnering skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and work with cross-functional teams
  • Passion to improve processes, increase velocity, and promote collaboration
  • PMP, Prince certification is preferred.
