Serve as the Country HR Leader for NXP India, playing an integral role for the HR Community, Site Leadership, Employees and other key stakeholders.
NXP India consists of more than 1,500 employees, located across three main locations : Bangalore, Hyderabad and Noida. Primary focus of the India organization is R&D hardware, software and solutions design in support of NXP customers.
This role reports directly to the SVP of Human Resources for NXP Businesses and acts with full autonomy and accountability.
Located in either Bangalore or Noida, the Country HR Leader is responsible for all Country HR activities, leading a team of HR professionals residing within India.
This role will collaborate with business leaders, global human resources business partners and centers of expertise HR colleagues to ensure the effective implementation of HR practices and processes in support of the company’s goals.
Specific activities for this role include the following :
Acts as the face of HR to India employees and managers, creating a strong sense of belonging across the country.
Ensures effective and efficient alignment of Country HR Generalists to support India based employees and managers, as well as alignment to the global HR business partners.
Provides strategic direction to HR team in with consultation, coaching and transactional HR support to managers and employees which fosters positive employee relations position.
Initiates and leads discussions on India HR policies & procedures to ensure they are current, business enabling practices.
Aligns with Global HR Business Partners to ensure local needs of each individual business and function is properly aligned with the global direction for the business line or function.
In partnership with the Global HR Operations Team, identifies and implements process improvement activities to increase the efficiency of operations in India.
Also works with the Global HR Operations Team to increase the effectiveness and leverage of the HR HelpDesk and other self-
service solutions for employees and managers.
Leverages metrics and analytics to drive fact-based decisions.
Proactively stays informed of human resources trends and legal changes to effectively guide the implementation of our India policies and procedures.

15+ year’s progressive Human Resources experience within a Multi-National Company (MNC) environment.
At least 7 years of team management experience
Master’s degree in Human Resources.
Proven success in effectively influencing leaders at all levels.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
