An interaction designer creates interaction concepts that enable seamless experiences for their users and to ensure that the user finds the product engaging, yet easy.

Key Responsibilities / Requirements
Deep understanding of information design / architecture, gestalt principles, and user psychology.
Ability to concisely communicate complex topics
Proficiency in sketching with pencils or pixels
Create designs by translating business requirements, recommending features, experiences, and UI implementations to meet the needs of the platform
Create user flows to ensure effective and smooth user experience on all Qualys products.
Present / communicate ideas and explain rationale behind design decisions with stakeholders
Establish interaction design library and ensure adherence to these standards
Proficiency in motion design & animation principles
Balance business objectives with optimal user experience
Create user-centered designs
Work with fellow Uxers, QA and technical teams to conduct user testing and to ensure proper execution of the designs.
Collaboration skills with other UXers, PM, Engineering
Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Interaction or similar area, or equivalent practical experience.
3-5 years of relevant work experience within UX, HCI.
Experienced in wireframing and prototyping
Ability to create design deliverables such as sketches, wireframes, design comps, user flows, and interaction documents
Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
Experience as interface / interaction designer, or similar role
Hands on experience in IA design, UX & UI design, usability, with an understanding of design accessibility requirements
Strong communication skills : verbal, written, presentation
Fluent in Figma / Sketch / Adobe XD
