We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Project Manager

Role Title : Associate Project Manager

Location (Country / City ) : Pune

Principal responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for Project management as part of the Enterprise Technology Appian Centre of Excellence Project delivery team.
  • Accountable for enabling the technical development and run-time operation of products and services within the Appian development pods.
  • APM will work with Product Owners and DevOps teams, and is responsible for the delivery, on-going success & continuous improvement of a discrete set of products.
  • Responsible, working with product owner & team, to ensure that the lead time to deploy changes is continuously improving and benchmarks appropriately across other functions within the project team
  • Accountable for ensuring compliance of the products and services with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives in the risk and control framework and technical currency (in line with published standards and guidelines) and, with the architecture function, implementation of the business imperatives
  • Responsible, working with product owner & team, to ensure that service levels are maintained and improved
  • Responsible for ensuring the cost base for the products and services is managed in line with controls defined
  • Work as Scrum Master to uplift the Agile teams
  • Be able to demonstrate you can lead, motivate, mentor and coach the teams
  • Work closely with teams and drive the project, keep good relationship with stakeholders and Agile teams
  • For smaller scale projects the Project Manager is expected to be able to undertake Business Analysis as required to define scope, timelines and delivery.
  • Additionally, a consistent and professional approach to project management is essential with particular attention to the risk profile of the project delivery and the subsequent operational model.
  • Qualification

  • A high quality degree level education highly desirable
  • A professional accountancy qualification desirable
  • A professional project management qualification (eg Prince2, PMP) advantageous
  • Proven ability to operate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Self-starter who can operate on own initiative.
  • Requirements

  • Experience in using Jira and Confluence
  • Knowledge of Cloud, particularly AWS or GCP is desirable
  • Technical background with knowledge of at least one programing language, preferred
  • APPIAN knowledge preferred
