We are seeking Specialist, Third Party Governance based out of Pune, India offices. In this role you will be responsible for supporting Finance Third Party Governance Oversight Team.

Here is brief description of the job role :

  • This position would be part of BNY Mellon Third Party Governance Finance team based in Pune India to assist with Third Party Governance Line of Business oversight process and to support a strong control framework through effective reporting and analysis.
  • Risk Reviews : The incumbent will be responsible for helping and supporting the Engagement Managers (EMs) in creating new inherent risk assessment profile (IRP) questionnaires.
  • He / she is expected to perform first line review on the quality of the IRPs.

  • Follow-ups : The individual is expected to follow up with EMs on all outstanding and upcoming tasks, ongoing monitoring activities, and exit strategies
  • Reporting : The individual would help create monthly and adhoc reports, combining vendor risk, spend and HR data, The reporting facilitates discussions with senior executives regarding their vendor portfolio
  • Risk Assessment Team Liaison : The individual is expected to support EMs with any escalations from Risk Assessment teams as part of ongoing independent oversight and monitoring.
  • Other Team Liaison : The individual will be responsible to coordinate with other stakeholders, such as Global Procurement, Operational Risk and Cyber Security teams, to resolve any open issues.
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7-9 years of Reporting, Vendor risk management and / or other risk management experience with a recognized company
  • Strong knowledge of Reporting with experience in business analysis / ability to review and synthesize data.
  • Should have strong knowledge of MS Excel and some knowledge of Power BI. Should be able to demonstrate ability to quickly analyze and manipulate complex spreadsheets
  • Problem solving capabilities and strong documentation, communication skills both verbal and non-verbal. Should be able to develop strong networking skills to build relationships with global stakeholders in multiple time zones
  • Flexibility, multi-tasking ability and willingness to work with changing priorities in a complex and dynamic work environment
  • Ability to self-manage workload and goals independently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven organization
  • Experience with Risk Management, Operational Risk, Internal Audit, and / or Controls related function preferably in banking or financial services industry is desired
