Your tasks

Achieving the financial, strategic and other goals set for the Region and in compliance with the DB Group specifications, the Country / Cluster specifications of the DB Schenker Business Unit and in consideration of legal requirements


  • All initiatives for achieving the short-term, medium-term and long-term goals of the region and of its assigned territories within the given decision-making power
  • To ensure efficient running of the business in the region by driving excellence in the operational procedures leading to a healthy EBIT margin
  • Propelling business development for achieving the strategically long-term goals of the Region and in compliance with the regional specifications of the DB Schenker Business Unit and the DB Group
  • Define the local business requirements for All products of DB Schenker Contract Logistics including Land Transportation, Air & Ocean freight, Projects and F&E
  • Actively promote the growth of trade lane sales development with overseas partners
  • To Process local market intelligence, KPIs and statistical data
  • Manage Client relationship by networking, maintaining and developing Business in line with overall growth for the region
  • Conduct cross divisional communication sessions on customer service improvement plans.
  • Manage alternative process / flows to proactively support customers and business needs
  • Drive productivity through automation and process alignment / standardization
  • Define and manage Service Level Agreements
  • Responsible for the introduction of new products in the region (as per feasibility and opportunity), overall budgeting, manpower planning and capital expenditure requirements for the region to get necessary approvals form the corporate to ensure seamless operations at the regional level
  • Cooperation with other departments of DB Schenker as well as other business units and DB Group functions which is both efficient and beneficial to the entire DB Group
  • To act as a guide, mentor and coach to employees and create learning opportunities in the organization to provide adequate career progression for building high quality manpower
  • Performance management of all product heads and direct reportees
  • To ensure compliance with the company policies and procedures by establishing effective review mechanisms and managing risks
  • Focus on cost optimization and reduce opex year on year
  • Ability to adapt and operate in a digital & automated environment
  • Attend QBR & Performance reviews as per needs of the region.
  • Implement synergies across BLR & MAA clusters
  • Focus on Data Quality and Data Analytics & Dashboard to improve quality of service & Sales deliverables
