About the Role

This is a Engineering Manager role in the engineering team based out of Pune, India (Preferred) that is responsible for owning and delivering the Spotlight product vulnerability assessment content (including the Content Management System CMS) for CrowdStrike, from concept to release and support.

He / She would work closely with product management to understand the customer requirements and define the delivery roadmap for the product content.

He / She will be technically responsible for the components across the Content Management System, the vulnerability content as well as test validation (SDET / Test) for the team in India.

This person would also own the team culture and will be responsible for building a strong team of contributors who work well together and raise the bar for a good working environment.

The engineering manager will focus on the organizational health while meeting or exceeding engineering deliverable goals.

This includes working across the organization and time zones for collaboration. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

The successful candidate should have had experience building and leading a team focused on building scalable cloud-based solutions.

Work experience in the security industry is highly desirable, including a strong understanding of some of the current prevelant product in this space.

Responsibilities

Manage the Spotlight content technical team and the content operations including content validation.

Own product content area from concept to delivery and support.

Collaborate with multi-functional teams across various physical locations including product management and other engineering disciplines.

Lead and manage other projects as assigned

What you will need

Minimum 10 years of overall experience in development and at least two years in management of technology products.

Ability and desire to being hands on as well as leading the team and collaborating cross functionally

Ability to develop, coordinate and execute on an engineering roadmap

Ability to communicate and articulate crisply at all levels from executive staff to engineers

Ability to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team

Familiarity and experience with the Agile process

Experience in Cybersecurity Industry

Desirable Skills :

Understanding of Vulnerabilities, mitigations and remediations

Experience with Security / Vulnerability detections (content) development and release

Experience of Vulnerability Management product developmen

Experience designing and implementing validation workflows for Security Based products

Experience working in remote & distributed environments

Solid design and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated passion for engineering excellence, pragmatism, quality, security, and performanceExperience with Go and / or Python would be a plus
