The Team :

The resource would be a part of the Market Data Marketing Systems technology team. He / She would be a part of the existing team supporting Platts Excel Add-

in and API which are external facing. Working very closely with the Product owner, this team is responsible to make major and minor enhancements

The Impact :

This position directly interacts with the business team to understand their requirements and the added value to the business customers.

The role provides exposure to the business and functional model of the company. The applications being worked on are highly business centric and revenue generating.

Responsibilities :

Design and deliver Platts Excel Add-in project within given budget and timelines.

Analyzed client requirements and formulated requirements document.

Co-ordinate with Database support team, QA and BA.

Enhanced various complex jobs for performance tuning.

Able to debug issue on Sonic side

Able to debug and identify issue in AWS cloud environment.

Help team to move story from UAT to business accepted status.

What we’re looking for :

9 Plus years of experience in designing, developing and implementing desktop based application, Web API and oracle with AWS within diverse environments.

Excellent communicator and good listener.

Highly motivated, dependable troubleshooter and problem-solver.

Good 'people skills' for building relationships with colleagues at all levels.

Basic Qualifications :

Must have : Worked on .net framework 4.5 and above

Must have : Strong in C#

Must have : strong in WPF

Must Have : worked in client side application( not a web application)

Must have : Multithreading and async programming

Must have : VSTO and excel DNA

Must have : unit testing framework e.g Nunit and mocking framework Moq

Must have : Dependency Injection e.g. Ninject

Must have : worked on design pattern

Must have : AWS knowledge

Must have : .Net Core experience

Must have : strong in communication

Must have : strong in debugging skill

Must have core java knowledge

Preferred Qualifications :

Have a exposure on Messaging Queue e.g Sonic MQ / Kafka

Have a exposure on ESB e.g. Sonic

Have a exposure of web socket e.g. Kaazing

Have a working knowledge of WIX Installer

Have a exposure of TDD

Have a working knowledge of RDBMD e.g. Oracle and Function, Store Procedure, Trigger

Good to have : Agile / scrum knowledge

Have a exposure of XSLT
