To provide onsite support for all staff.

To diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systemsand across a range of software applications

Follow up with users to ensure issue has been resolved.

To accurately record, update incidents and document requests using the IT Service-NOW system

Strong knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10 , Microsoft Office 2010 and above, Encryption Software (e.g.Bitlocker)

  • Strong knowledge of PC, Laptops, Printer troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of LAN / WAN Technologies such as TCP / IP Networking
  • Experience supporting iOS and Android-based mobile devices
  • Knowledge of Citrix Xen Server, Xen App, Xen Desktop, and / or other related environments
  • Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician is an advantage
  • Good administration management skills
  • Strong listening skills
  • Able to operate effectively in a team environment with both technical and nontechnical team members
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware and any other authorised peripheral equipment
  • Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers and any other authorised peripheral equipment
  • Performs remedial repairs on computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment
  • Customize desktop hardware to meet user specifications and site standards
  • Performs work in compliance within specified warranty requirements
  • Diploma in IT / Computing or related certification

    At least 5 years onsite desktop support experience
