Job Description :
The Role demands proficiency in change management and disaster response.
The person would be responsible to perform rule base change management, incident management and troubleshooting firewall change related issues.
He / She should have operations handling experience with a track record of managing team level performance like managing team level SLAs, achieve team's efficiency and productivity target, escalation handling.
Person would be responsible for providing technical guidance to the team for solving complex issues, assist with hiring and new team members training.
Should have an eye to identify areas of improvement and help management in driving change and innovation.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
Perform rule base changes on the firewalls across physical & virtual environments.
Problem Management- Perform advanced trouble shooting with multiple teams to ensure connectivity.
Operations management - Team level SLA, Efficiency, productivity management.
SME - Provide Technical guidance to the team for solving complex issues.
Stakeholder Management - Priority Request handling, Escalation management.
Active contribution in driving innovation and change.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience :
Overall 6+ years of experience in the Network security domain with the exposure to perform a supervisory role.
Minimum 3 years of change management experience in firewall like Juniper (SRX, Netscreen), Cisco, Chekpoint.
Knowledge of cloud technologies would be added advantage (NSX, AWS)
Experience of Advanced level troubleshooting, networking (routing, switching), the F5 Load balancer / BlueCoat Proxy, VPN.
Problem-solving and Analytical Skills.

Must have technical / professional qualifications :
Professional level of certification in the network security domain is preferred.
