POSITION: Senior Manager, SaaS CXE Process Engineering PREFERRED LOCATION: Prestige Technology Park III VelocityMarathahalli, Sarjapur Outer Ring Road,Bengaluru, KARNATAKA 560 103, IN REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Thomas WinstonVice President, PE&OAs the leader of the SaaS CXE Process Engineering team in India, your role will be to drive the re-engineering and evolution of current service management processes into a DevOps model and framework that will provide increased efficiency and facilitating improved cross-functional team interaction ensuring optimized service management and the reduction of manual actions for Oracle teams delivering Cloud Services to our customers.This person will be responsible for building a team of process engineers to work cross-functionally with all teams within the Oracle Cloud ecosystem to design and document improved service management processes related to the onboarding, provisioning, monitoring, managing life-cycle activities, and managing overall delivery of the services for the Oracle SaaS portfolio. A key responsibility of the role will be lead and grow the India-based Process Engineering team that is focused continually raising the industry bar by driving operational efficiency and overall customer experience improvement into Oracle Cloud operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: •Provide leadership and guidance for process engineering across service management disciplines for Incident, Problem and Change Management.•Direct the team to drive continuous improvement initiatives alongside key service management stakeholders to improve process efficiency and documentation for Oracle Cloud. •Measure and report team performance for execution of key initiatives driven through our on-boarding / continuous improvement processes. •Communicate information both to senior management as well as local Cloud Operations team regarding necessary process adjustments.•Build, manage, and support a team of CXE process engineers as it grows using transparent, data driven metrics.•Contribute to the creation of system and process documentation.•Work with support system tool teams (e.g. SaaS Jira) to optimize process workflow and configuration to optimize the efficient use of the teams by DevOps engineers.•Have an “Automate Everything” mindset to support scalable growth.•Provide regular qualitative assessment to executives including metric gathering and real-time status of the current conditions of service management processes via KPIs.•Collaborate with other areas (Development, Operations, Performance, Middleware, Release Management) as necessary to obtain efficient solutions in addition to driving more strategic efforts.•Collaborate with other team members on assignments and solutions design.•Research and design projects.  PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: The candidate will have deep experience in Operational Support Systems Management and systems integration and more specifically will have the experience described below:•7+ years of experience in operational and leadership roles supporting service delivery in cloud IaaS, PaaS or SaaS Operations.•Prior experience in mission-critical service delivery management role.•Experience with managing day-to-day activities and performance of a staff of engineers. •Familiarity of industry service delivery, incident management & change management best practices.•Project planning and management experience.•Experience with Atlassian Jira Core & Service Desk, Confluence, PagerDuty, and Slack with an emphasis on system integration.•Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Linux, RedHat, and/or other Oracle Linux platforms.•Working technical knowledge of coding (Ruby, Python, or PHP).•Familiarity with Oracle Database Administration, WebLogic Administration, Network, Storage appliances and System Administration is a plus. •Good technical knowledge of current software, hardware and network standards.•Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience.•Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment experience.•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal. •Capable of working independently and efficiently. •Ability to quickly learn new technologies.•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects at a time with individuals across multiple departments regions and cultures. EDUCATION: A Bachelors’ degree is preferred. An advanced degree is a plus. Successful track record in applications implementation and as a manager. Expert knowledge of all applications within a business area; plus some knowledge of other applications. BA/BS degree preferred.
