Position Summary

MoEngage is seeking an expert who can work with internal teams to execute content marketing initiatives for the North American region.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in close partnership with sales, product, and customer success teams to develop in-depth, well-researched, and data-driven content that can accelerate sales cycles.

    The content marketing team at MoEngage focuses on delivering critical content that educates, enables, and guides our audience towards better customer engagement.

    The content we develop helps MoEngage to emerge as a strong brand and a global leader. We do this through insightful and actionable content and helps product owners, marketers, and senior executives in consumer brands sharpen their strategies and delight their end-users.

  • Responsibilities

  • Understand our target audience in North America in a highly detailed manner. Deep-dive into their pain points, use cases, the way they prefer to evaluate and buy software, their likes, interests, and preferences.
  • Write compelling content based on this understanding.

  • Work cross-functionally with teams and key stakeholders to understand our customer’s pain points, generate content ideas, and create detailed outlines.
  • Produce compelling U.S. first content, sales tools to engage and nurture prospects across the funnel.
  • Support our regional initiatives, including events, ABM, PR, and more.
  • Rapidly experiment with different content formats, messaging, and themes to optimize for the highest results.
  • Repurpose long-form content to smaller bite-sized pieces consumable for the region and across a host of digital channels.
  • Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related communications field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in content marketing for a B2B SaaS enterprise.
  • Previous experience writing content for an audience in North America is a plus.
  • Skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing principles and the sales funnel / process.
  • Extremely curious, analytical, and can pay attention to detail
  • Adept at developing in-depth, well-researched content that compels the reader to take action.
  • Understanding of brand, logo, and regulatory compliance, and the ability to liaise with agencies, vendors, and creative / design professionals.
  • Good planning, interpersonal, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with multiple deadlines and milestone requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. This includes proofreading, copy editing, and design consistency.
