Engineer III, Software Development - AWS Developer

In this role, you will be responsible as technical support analyst lead for the AWS element of the PVAI service.

Responsibilities As an AWS Production Support Analyst , your responsibilities include -

  • Support cloud servers including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
  • Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits.
  • Develop scripts for automating client / server functions
  • Monitor automated systems recovery solutions. Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
  • Working with Level 2 and customer teams to provide timely resolutions to incidents and problems
  • Adhere to strict governance, SLA and quality required for compliance
  • Technical and operational complexity of service solution.
  • Provide pro-active support and insight to improve underlying service
  • Qualifications

    Minimum qualifications

    Graduate / Post Graduate

  • Experience of Cloud based operations
  • Proven experience of supporting SaaS solutions delivered on AWS
  • Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure and associated components
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on AWS.
  • Excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills
  • Incident and Problem management
  • Very strong communication skills
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
  • Experience with pharma or medical industry and related GxP compliance
  • Preferred qualifications

  • Certification in AWS, Linux
  • Good working knowledge of AWS networking and firewalls.
  • Experience with ticketing systems, eg Jira Service Desk, ZenDesk, ServiceNow
  • Medical / Pharma industry experience
