We’re looking for a motivated and talented individual with extensive experience implementing carrier-grade data communications services, while learning to leverage the disruption taking place with SDN, NFV and virtualized routing systems.

You will take an experienced and influential role contributing to system architecture, delivering innovative solutions to meet demanding performance, scalability and feature requirements in support of advanced Carrier Ethernet services, advancing next generation capabilities focused on service providers and global enterprises.


  • Build, manage and drive a high performance SW development team Recruitment, planning, assignment, tracking, performance management and people development.
  • Should participate in and drive the requirements, architecture, design and implementation process to ensure a high quality delivery to test teams.
  • Help investigate and collect information (metrics) to resolve process issues found on the current or past releases and to improve software quality.
  • Drive innovation & take initiatives to improve the SW Dev environment, suggest and drive tools / automation and process development to improve quality of deliverables.
  • General Activities

  • Ensure smooth software lifecycle for all ongoing releases as it goes through various release related gates / milestones.
  • Coordinate with local / remote Architecture, Product Marketing, SW engineering and test teams for successful delivery of features
  • Prioritize & drive resolution of customer issues actively with customer support teams.
  • Attend meetings, report progress and take technical leadership to help drive issue resolution.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders

  • R&D teams.
  • PLM and Product Architects.
  • 3rd party vendors.
  • Program Management.
  • Field Support teams.
  • Experience / Skill Required

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s of Science Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
  • 10+ Years of software development experience including leadership of effective and innovative teams.
  • 2+ Years of experience in role of engineering manager for product engineering teams
  • Strong Exposure to one or more from Network Timing (SyncE / 1588v2), Clock Recovery (ACR / DCR / EPAR), TDM-over-Packet (SAToP / CESoPSN / CEP), CES (Circuit Emulation Services), fast path (VPP / DPDK), network virtualization (OVS, NFV)
  • Exposure to Microchip / Renesas clocking devices, Arrive / Aimvalley FPGA and Broadcom Data path (XGS / DNX family) is a bonus.
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills, effectively able to collaborate with multiple teams across geographically diverse areas.
