JOB PURPOSE

To Manage the Operations, Maintenance, Renovation and construction activities of IGIA Landside & Airside civil at DIAL as per customer expectations and OMDA requirements in compliance with OMDA, ICAO, DGCA, BCAS and AAI regulations along with maintaining the serviceability and Availability above 99% The main objective of AGM Airside & landside (Civil) to provide guidance to team down the line so that all areas are maintained at the desired serviceability & availability levels as per requirement and ensure that all customers i.

e. Stakeholders / Operation (Airside & Cityside) / Airlines / Customs / Immigrations and CISFs expectations are met on a timely manner.

Looking after Projects, maintenance & procurement works related to Airside and Landside works ,to ensure the smooth operation with qualitative progress, safety of respective packages at all the time.

Conducting training program for the team and to develop Talent pipeline and succession planning at each level.Maintaining Serviceability >

99 % moving towards zero pending complaints with complete RCA and to Prepare history sheet of every work for future review, monitoring and precautionary measures.

Reduction in Capex and Opex cost for allocated budget by value engineering and optimizing the use of existing machinery and man power, achieving recovery cost and initiation & implementation of cost saving measures for each contract / works, initiating, monitoring and Processing of NFA / PR / PO within the stipulated timelines and SOP.

Certification and payments to vendors as per the contracts. Strengthening of SLAs Monitoring, identification of non-compliances, preparation of documents for audits & closure of observations, SI and Zero tolerance.

To ensure that the team down the line is continuously participating in key quality initiatives like CIP, 5S, Kaizen, EnMS, BLIP, Cost Containment, and also supporting different audit groups such as MAG, ISO, BCMS and assessments.

Responsible for design review and execution of Civil & Finishes works for construction of Terminal Buildings, retail & F&B outlets, luxury hotels ensuring safety & quality standards within specified time & cost

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Design Management : -

  • Review design basis reports, assumptions and calculations for foundation, substructure, superstructure and roofing systems submitted by the consultants / EPC contractor, in line with design standards and specifications.
  • Review tender drawings, specification and bills of quantities and recommend for HOD approval
  • Review detailed design drawings, technical specifications and shop drawings for construction submitted by the EPC contractor / Consultant and recommend for HOD approval.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings with cross functional teams, Stakeholders, consultant and EPC contractor to mitigate conflicts in the design stage
  • Ensure GFC (Good for Construction) drawings are approved in time and issued for construction.
  • Ensure integration of all related services and utilities in the final design.

    Construction Management : -

  • Responsible for Development and implementation of detailed construction schedule (design development to Handing over) as per agreed timelines.
  • Ensure periodic review and update the management in association with contractor and other stake holders.
  • Execution of all Civil and structural works & other interface works as per the quality & cost parameters specified in the contracts
  • Engage with multiple contractors for Civil and structure related.
  • EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

  • Interact with stake holders of the projects to understand their Project & Operational requirements from an execution perspective.
  • Interact with Client, external consultants, Vendors / contractors for smooth execution of the projects Interaction with NAC and fire Authorities for regulation related activity.

  • Interacts with user departments for efficient coordination of works.
  • Interact with individual team members, Senior Management and other cross functional team members

  • Managing Multiple Vendors and their staff.
  • EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Certification in Project Management is preferred.
  • RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

    18-20 years of experience in Complex Steel / Concrete Structures, Interiors, Facade & Specialized Roofing Systems.
